Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL)
This year, we are proud to announce that Harvard National Model United Nations Latin American 2019 will take place at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL). USIL is a private university that was founded in 1995 by the former Vice President of Perú, Raúl Diez Canseco, and its address is Av. La Fontana 550 La Molina, Lima, Perú.
USIL strives to develop a series of global initiatives in education with the goal of shaping ethical and socially responsible leaders, who can lead in any corner of the world. As one of the most renowned universities in Perú, it boasts a robust undergraduate curriculum and offers twenty-six majors. The university also has a major focus on entrepreneurship and hospitality management. USIL has unparalleled conference facilities, and our team is excited to call it our home for the eighth session of HNMUN-LA.
We are looking forward to providing all university students with an opportunity to access one of the most prestigious universities in Perú, and we are particularly excited to be providing our high school students the chance to debate on a university campus as they prepare for higher education.
Location & Delegate Experience
The location of USIL will provide delegates with an unparalleled experience in the La Molina district of Lima, as well as the neighboring Surco district. San Borja and Miraflores are also just right down the road, so USIL offers easy access to Lima’s most beautiful districts. The expansive rooms and features at USIL will take the committee experience to the next level. Delegates will find USIL to be an ideal space for practicing diplomacy, enhancing their speaking and written communication skills, and making connections that will last a lifetime. We look forward to welcoming you to the USIL in La Molina!
